Words, pictures, thoughts, maybe even interviews.
Third Man Books has released quite a keepsake detailing all the Blue Series singles to date on Third Man Records, 2009 to 2016, from Insane Clown Posse to Steven Colbert to Transit, a band comprised of musicians who work for Nashville’s Metro Transit Authority.
Written by Ben Blackwell, The Blue Series: The Story Behind The Color is vastly beautiful, full of insightful essays and interviews from the likes of Rolling Stone’s David Fricke and Dwight Yoakum and the 18.104.22.168’s, stunning photos by Jo McCaughey, and comes with a 7″ vinyl single of unreleased songs from the Third Man Records Blue Series vaults that you can’t get anywhere else.
